To remove the wifey feeling, I shall do something rebellious now.

My birthday has come and gone and again, for the second time since I started this journal, nothing pertaining to my birthday has been mentioned. Unless I write about that this year...which I think I should, lest people think I'm a fictional character like Alice in Wonderland and will forever be remembered as ... okay, how old is Alice? 12? 11? 4? I don't know...point is, I do get old. I feel old, more so this year than any other year. But that's for another entry. I shall sit down and spend some time writing about it and illustrating it with pictures. This time though, on a Monday morning, I shall just update.

My roommate just moved out (why?!?) and for days, Donny and I had been cleaning my room. It's his idea that I should thoroughly clean my room, which I totally support, it's just that I have little confidence in myself that I'll be able to execute it all by myself. So he came to the rescue, as he is, by far, neater and more organized than me.

So now, for the first time in years, my room is clean. There's a lot of clutter on my table, though, which just goes to show how much work is being done there. Nonetheless, my room is clean. After years of living in a campus hostel, my room has never been cleaner. I never knew how relaxing it was to come home to a clean and spacious room. Relaxing, but at the same time work-inducing. So that's why I haven't been writing much. Well, not really. I have deadlines to meet and the more I postpone, the more I hate myself for postponing.

Anyway, the first few things I bought after receiving my allowance (it's about time!) were stuff you use for cleaning:

1) Magic Wiper - so easy to use and fun, too, that you can't wait to mop your floor until it looks sparkling.
2) Ivory Dishwashing Detergent - gentle on hands, hard on grease (as written on the bottle) and smells really good, too!
3) Organics Silky Straight Shampoo with Frizz Control and Conditioner - I didn't buy my trusted brand to try out this shampoo. I love it!
4) Multipurpose Polishing Sponge - amazing cleaning power.
5) Handtowels - a must-have.

There you go. Did I mention I feel old? That's evidence right there. My shopping list is the same as what every housewife has. It's a little bit scary. Alright, to remove the wifey feeling, I shall do something rebellious now.
