Mom's Birthday!
It's my mom's birthday today! How obvious cool is that?
When my mom and I go out, several people (who knew my mother but apparently, haven't seen her daughter) would remark that we look like sisters. SISTERS! Well, I do look so much like my mother but to be mistaken as her sister? I don't get it. Should I be worried? My mom's looking younger as she gets older, while I, on the other hand, is not getting any younger, hence, the mistaken identity. I feel that she's catching up with me ... or the other way around. Either way: not good. For me, at least. But yay, Mama! I so want to be with her today but there's just no way I could, sigh. I just called her and she sounds very happy. I love the fact that we still giggle over the phone like gal pals. Well, that's my mom. And today, she turns 43!
