The Obligatory Update Before Flying Back Home

Yes, after 1.5 years of being away, I'll be going back home with my family in Davao City. In a few hours' time. I'll be home for about six weeks and hopefully, that will give my foot enough time to recover. Never again will I take walking for granted. It's a blessing. As with many things, really.

Right now the only thing that stops me from crying (over the uncertainty of the consequences of my injury) is being thankful. Everyday there's always something to be thankful for. My computer, for providing me with watchables because when you're stuck in your room with nothing to do, the watchables you have are your friends. Speaking of which, I have friends calling up asking how I am and intending to visit. Lucky me. And I have a roommate who doesn't complain carrying my toiletries to the bathroom while I walk with crutches, or those things that help your foot but hurt your armpits. And I have a boyfriend who's been nothing but an angel.

I've registered my subjects for next semester, my second to the last semester, that is. My final year project results will come next month. And then everything will be fast from there. Exciting!

Oh well, that's all for now. You'll hear from me again in July.
